Who I am

I am Simona Stanciu, a Romanian artist who lives and works in Montalcino, Tuscany. My art is inspired by the movement and spontaneity of human life, which I transform into unique works through the dripping art technique.

My work lies between abstraction and figuration: using bright colors and dynamic gestures to create silhouettes that evoke emotions and deep connections. Each work is born from a dialogue with the canvas, an exploration that transforms chaos into harmonious forms, rich in meaning.

My inspiration

Living in Tuscany, surrounded by natural and cultural beauty, fuels my creativity. However, my Romanian roots and personal experience give me an additional perspective that I bring to my work, making each piece a blend of cultures and sensibilities.

My approach

Through the dripping technique, I let the color guide the creative process, leaving room for spontaneity and chance. The result is a visual language that combines energy, movement and intimacy, inviting the observer to reflect on their own human experience.
